About the Speakers

Mr. Deny Rahardjo
Co-founder, Managing Director
Kinerjapay, Indonesia's e-commerce platform
Deny has experienced in all aspects of Information Technology Management over 20 years with MNCs such as Nokia, Microsoft and Polycom. He has setup and act as passive partners for few businesses locally and overseas around IT system development, financial training and trading system solutions and most recently property development.
Now, he managing Kinerjapay as an e-commerce and payment gateway platform for Indonesia market. He also act as an advisor at The Founders Camp, and a mentor at JFDI, supporting startups.
Deny will be sharing with us his e-commerce venture, as well as the business environment, trends and goverment policies in Indonesia.

The growth, the opportunities and drawback in setting up online e-commerce business. How online business would spur economic growth especially among SME in Indonesia and what it takes to succeed. What would be the next big thing in terms of e-commerce platform in Indonesia and how overseas players can participate in this exciting growth.

Sham Alexandra is the Managing Director of DHL eCommerce South East Asia. As Managing Director of DHL eCommerce South East Asia, Mr. Alexandra is responsible for the profitable management of DHL eCommerce’s operations in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Mr. Alexandra joined DHL Express Malaysia in 2000 before moving to join DHL Global Mail in Singapore as the Regional Business Development Manager for South East Asia and India in 2008. In addition to developing local and regional strategies critical to business growth, he also established inroads into e-commerce B2C platforms in Malaysia and Thailand offices that led to continuous growth in the sector to date.
Prior to Mr. Alexandra’s appointment as the Head of South East Asia and India in 2011, he ran was responsible for DHL Global Mail Singapore as its Country Manager accountable in managing, developing and expanding the business. During his tenure as Head of South East Asia and India, he played an instrumental role in leading the business with a 30% top line revenue growth. He also brought about organizational re-engineering which resulted in substantial cost savings and better management of indirect costs.
