Managing Director of Tamoya Singapore
After working in retail marketing at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley, Mr Koga joined Basic Inc. and entered into web marketing in 2008. He was the Chief of Operation for the biggest franchise business portal site in Japan. In order to support franchise's development overseas, Mr Koga set up Japan Food Culture Pte Ltd in 2012 July, as a subsidiary company in Singapore.
For gaining first hand experience in franchising, the company opened a Udon restaurant "Tamoya" at Liang Court in March 2013. In the same year, the first franchise restaurant and the second restaurant under direct management were set up, together there are a total of 3 Tamoya restaurants in Singapore.
As the regional headquarter of Tamoya in Singapore, they are actively expanding the business in other ASEAN countries. Besides Tamoya, the company also has plans for expanding other businesses from Japan to ASEAN.
