Shinya Yokoyama is also Co-Founder of Halal Media Japan Co Ltd which is Japan’s Halal leading portal site. He started his business career focusing on machinery trading in Japan and South East Asia in Yuasa Trading Co Ltd from 1992 to 2000.

 

He has been working on helping SMEs to develop overseas business since then.

He holds MBA degree from Kenichi Ohmae Graduate School of Business and awarded encouragement award for his work titled “Management Strategies for Japanese SME’s in Halal Industry”.

 

He got involved Halal and Islamic business industry since he came back to S’pore in 2012 and Co-organized Japan Halal Expo 2014 and 2015 which were the first and second international Halal related trade show and exhibition ever held in Japan.

 

In this seminar, Yoko-san as he likes to be called will give you an insight on the Japan Halal market. He will share data and statistics of Japan’s lucrative industries e.g. in tourism, F&B, retail and etc compared to the world economy.

Melvin Goh is the CEO (Chief-Everything-Officer) of Have Halal, Will Travel (HHWT). He works with various brands and government officials to promote their Muslim-friendly services. He also ensures that HHWT consistently produces high quality content for Muslim travellers. Melvin has a long track record in the digital marketing sector. He dreams of travelling to space one day. 

 

Have Halal, Will Travel (HHWT) offers resources and tools to help Muslim travellers plan their perfect trip. HHWT is redefining the Muslim travel market with highly shareable social content and a dedicated travel planning app to recommend the best things to do, eat and places to pray. We reach more than half a million Muslim travellers every month.
