About WASABI Festa

 

WASABI Festa is a quarterly event over the weekend, showcasing 

beautiful Japanese lifestyle products, holding seminars, workshops,

and organising parties to people in Singapore. The event provides

a platform for visitors to See, to Taste,  to Play, to Learn, to Wear, to Do,

and to Experience all about Japan.

 

All products and contents are carefully curated by WASABI Creation  

to ensure that  all visitors will have quality time and memorable experience

at the event. It is a platform for amazing Japanese products & services to

be showcased  in Singapore for sales and business opportunities.

The Experiences

What is happening?

1. Exhibition: Japanese brands, products, and services are welcome to exhibit at the event to introduce their brands directly to the visitors. Besides Japanese brands, other interesting Japan inspired products and services are also welcome.

2. Presentation: Companies have the opportunity to do presentations as the subject of experts to share their knowledge and experiences, while introducing their brands to the audience. Activities, panel discussions, food tasting, games & prizes can be included to make it more engaging for everyone.

3. Workshops: If you have a skill to share, a course to introduce, or a demonstration to show how your products & services work, you may wish to hold a workshop in one of the many meeting rooms for a face-to-face interaction with your participants. 

 

4. Pop-up stores: Transform the space into a pop-up store to give a complete brand experience to your visitors! A pop-up cafe, pop-up bar, pop-up salon, pop-up cinema, pop-up snack kiosk, it is all about creativity and innovation!

 

5. Fukubukuro: Sponsor some goodies to be included in the gift bags for the visitors to know more about your brand, and try out your products. We will make sure they will visit your booth to discover more about your brand.

 

6. Live demonstrations: If your brand is about crafts & skills, you may do a live demonstration at your booth, and invite visitors to have a first hand experience in your trade, as you share with them stories behind your brand.

 

7. Performance: Sponsor a performance to showcase your brand where the limelight is. Let the performers carry your fashion label, let them endorse your premium sake, allow everyone how your products will shine together with the performers on stage. 

About the Venue

The Working Capitol is a coworking space located inside three adjoining shophouses in Singapore's Chinatown district, which served as a biscuit-making factory in 1920s. Since 2015, it is a now home to 400 international companies, start-ups, and entrepreneurs, with a well mix of expatriates and locals in the community. The interior is stylishly designed with the purpose of functionality and to promote interaction between individuals in the community.

 

The Working Capitol will be providing 1200 square meters of indoor spaces, event hall, café space, meeting rooms, as well as beer garden for WASABI Festa event. Booths will be beautifully setup and transform these spaces into a marketplace for new discoveries, and new experiences.

  • Instead of expensive convention center and exhibition hall, we utilise existing community spaces which are centrally located, stylishly designed, and shared by existing communities. Now companies can enjoy lower exhibition fee, while they reach out to new segments of customers.

  • The event is organised by WASABI Creation, a Singapore company with deep knowledge and understanding of Japan. Its strength is to position and present Japanese products in an attractive and desirable manner from the perspective of Singaporeans and foreigners.

  • Besides products exhibitions, there will also be seminars, workshops, performances,  presentations, live demonstrations, food & drinks, galleries, culture experiences, quiz & games, music, and party. There are something for the family, the young, the seniors, and for everyone. 

Offline event & Online shop

  • Besides showcasing and making sales of Japanese products at the event, you may also put up your products on our online shop, so that customers can purchase your products 365 days a year.

 

Regularly held event

  • While most events are one-off or held once every year, WASABI Discovery is organised every quarter to provide continuous excitement to the communities in Singapore. Each event will showcase new products, new brands, and new programs to keep visitors returning to the event every time.
